Second Annual Parent Child Tea

Back by popular demand, the incredibly special and super fun Parent-Child Tea is coming this August to our very own Temple Beth El. What was the Tea like last year??? Dresses, bow ties, lacy gloves and a few flowery hats adorned the attendees at the Parent-Child Tea.  

Trays of hors d’oeuvres and petit four desserts created a bounty of High Tea delectables, all delivered by the participants as they arrived. Tables were filled with storytelling, games, and connections with friends new and old.  The crafts table overflowed with those who were stringing beads for necklaces or learning to tie sparkly tinsel into hair. Laughter and cheers filled the air as parents and kids raced with 3-legs, did the hula hoop pass and the 2-legged monkey race....giggling all the way.  Friends were seen and friends were made. For close to three hours families danced, bonded, and played with others. All eagerly expressed their excitement for this new event and its return the following year. In the Santa Cruz and Temple Beth El style, jeans and Hawaiian shirts are just as welcome as fancier attire. However, for those who love to dress up, there's just enough time to plan matching outfits or find a fun lacy hat.
