Temple Beth El (TBE) ---
Jewish Community Center of Santa Cruz

Temple Beth El is a diverse, welcoming, and spiritual community. We work hard for social justice. We care deeply about young families and treasured elders. We love to sing and dance and be together!

Temple Beth El is a member of the Union of Reform Judaism (URJ). Reform Judaism offers affiliation to Jews who traditionally have not been included. We embrace a core belief in the equality of men and women in worship and leadership, and warmly welcome the participation of interfaith families. Ours is the only Jewish movement that recognizes patrilineal as well as matrilineal descent as a criterion for being Jewish.

All are welcome and encouraged to become part of our community, to be one of the valued pieces of the mosaic that make us whole.

Passionate about peace and justice, creative about prayer, and joyful about tradition
