Brotherhood has arranged for UCSC docents to provide us with a guided tour of the UCSC Arboretum & Botanical Garden, home to over 300 diverse plant families from around the world.  But we won’t just be learning about plants, birds and wildlife and getting a little fresh air and exercise.  This tour is also for photographers.  Long-time Temple photographers Lee Jaffe (birding and bird photography) and Terry Rein (flower and plant photography) will join our tours, and participants will be able to share tips about positioning for the best shots, distance, lighting, time of day, shutter speed, focal length, advantages of using a tripod vs. hand-held, and other factors.  But there’s more:  a Brotherhood brunch at the Arboretum will follow.  But we’re limited to 30 people.  So let Mike know at if you can come.  The tour will take roughly 90 minutes.  Cost:  $13 adults, $8 kids 12 and under.
