Conditions for reproductive justice are foundational to women’s human rights. We will explore these issues in some detail including an explanation of the 2022 Supreme Court decision that reversed Roe v. Wade. Likewise, reproductive justice includes the right to decide whether or not to have children, the right to abortion and contraception, and freedom from forced sterilizations. The principle is one of equality: women should have as much sovereignty over their own bodies as men have over theirs.
