We had so much fun making Hamantaschen at our March 17th Mazel Tots Meet-up. We know how much the kiddos love to cook! On April 14th we'll be making the sweet and spiced mixture known as charoset. This ceremonial food is featured at the Passover seder and has its own spot on the seder plate. The pasty, brick colored, fruity mixture represents the mortar used by enslaved Israelites to build bricks in Egypt. It also happens to be super yummy!
