Join Rabbi Shifra for a new tradition, based on an old tradition. Tisch is Yiddish for table, but it also refers to a festive Friday night gathering, hosted by a rabbi, involving singing, teachings and stories. We will share a Shabbat vegetarian potluck dinner together around one big table, and instead of a separate Erev Shabbat Service, we will welcome Shabbat around the table with song, stories and learning. Mourner’s Kaddish will be recited. All ages welcome. Pre-registration requested. A small donation to offset staffing expenses encouraged. Please bring a vegetarian main dish, side dish, or dessert.
